Casey Wimpee is a Brooklyn-based fiction writer, art critic, & playwright from Dallas, Texas. His plays include Lavaman (Ice Factory 2009, Ohio Theatre, NYC), The Battle Plays Trilogy (The Brick / Monkeytown, NYC), and Arms & The Octopus (Ohio / Galapagos, NY) for which he was nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre award. His plays The Queen is Dead and Amphibians were selected to be peformed in Samuel French’s 2008 and 2009 OOB Festival, respectively.
