Kalli Newman is a director, cinematographer, and film editor from Reyjavik, Iceland. He has recently directed and adapted the two shorts -The Queen of Astoria and The Queen is Dead – the first of which was controversial enough to be banned from multiple video-sharing sites such as youtube and myspace. His screenplay, The Fart Collector was recently adapted and staged by Working Man’s Clothes in New York City and he received excellent NY reviews for his visual work on Bring Me The Head of John Ford in Brooklyn’s Film Festival:Theater Festival. He has experience in theatre, film and is known mostly for his music video work in Iceland and co-founded Everybody Row Films. Vid drullum i buxurnar af gledi.
